Panaji: Various Hindu organizations would be holding demonstrations in Panaji on January 25 under the banner of National Hindu Movement (NHM) demanding NRC be implemented in Goa to solve track down infiltrators from Bangladesh into the coastal state, a senior functionary said.

“Various Hindu organizations are going to conduct a demonstration at Panaji under the banner of National Hindu Movement (NHM) on  January 25 at 5 pm to press upon the demand to invoke NRC in Goa to solve the increasing problems caused due to Bangladeshi infiltrators,” Manoj Solanki, Convenor, NHM, said in a press statement released here.

Solanki said that the demonstrations will also demand that the criminal cases be filed against those who vandalized the public property under the pretext of demonstrations against Citizenship Amendment Act.

“The stringent action should be taken against the criminals who have been acting anti-national,” he said.
