Mohindar Amarnath takes COVID vaccine at Manipal Hospital

Dona Paula: Former cricketer Mohindar Amarnath along with his family took covid jab at Manipal Hospital, Dona Paula  on Tuesday.

Amarnath was accompanied by his wife, Inderjit and another relative when they arrived at Manipal Hospital, Dona Paula on Tuesday morning.

The 70-year-old cricketer, after taking the jab, appealed all the people to come forward and get vaccinated from COVID-19.

Amarnath also signed a bat which has been kept as a memento by the hospital.

Dr Shekhar Salkar of Manipal Hospital, who received Amarnath, said that it was a “fanboy” moment for him when he signed the bat.

Salkar, who is also a former chief of Goa Cricket Association, said that he has been a great fan of the cricketer and meeting him was his important moment of life.
