Panaji: Various parts of Ponda including Cotwada and Nagzar remained in dark as they were deprived of street lights. In view of this, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) MLA Sudin Dhavlikar and Priya Chari distributed street lights. The initiative was undertaken by MGP leader Dr.Ketan Bhatikar.
The MGP leaders have also requested Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer to complete the repair and putting up of the new street lights.
