Panaji: MGP has demanded that Independent MLA and minister Govind Gawade should be dropped from the cabinet over his unruly behaviour during Cabinet meeting.

MGP Executive President Narayan Sawant condemned the action of Gawade of using foul language towards their leader Sudin Dhavalikar and also charging on him physically.

“The action of Gawade does not go well in the democratic set up where difference of opinion can be solved by discussion,” he said.

Sawant demanded that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who was witness to the incident, should sack Gawade from the cabinet.

“This action is not only insult to our leader and MGP but also to the democratic set up,” he said.
