Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today announced to amend Goa Public Health Act.
“The existing Act is out dated and needs to be amended. More stringent guidelines needs to be introduce. More powers needs to be given to medical officers,” he said.
Rane said that while brining in necessary amendment, the stakeholders from Hotel Industry would be taken into consideration.
He was speaking to reporters after inaugurating extension of RMO Hostel at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC).
