Panaji: All India Congress committee President Mallikarjun Kharge would be addressing party workers in South Goa on Monday, august 17.
Goa Pradesh Congress committee President Girish Chodankar said that Kharge would be on a day-long visit to the state.
He would be addressing party workers at Verna village in South Goa.
Chodankar said that this is an important meeting as the party is gearing up for the upcoming Goa Legislative Assembly election due before March, 2027.
He said that this is the first time that Kharge would be addressing the party workers in Goa after taking over the charge of All India Congress Committee.
