Panaji: Claiming that the stunt of Mahagathbandhan is fake, BJP National Spokesman Shahnawaj Hussain on Saturday said that his party has a leader while opposition has “dealer.”
Hussain was addressing a press conference in Goa in presence of State BJP chief Vinay Tendulkar.
“Mahagathbandhan is a completely fake thing. They cannot defeat BJP because many of them sharing the dais are aspiring to be the next Prime Minister,” the BJP leader said adding that those who are fighting against each other are putting up the show of being united.
He said that the Congress which was riding high after winning in three States was rejected by their own allies in Uttar Pradesh.
“If Congress had guts then they should announce that they will fight Amethi and Raibareli without alliance,” Hussain added.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is “world’s most popular leader and a visionary.” “The coutry is marching forward under the leadership of Modi,” he said.
Hussain said “BJP has best of the leader. We have leadership and our opponents don’t have leader. They have dealer we have leader.”
He asserted that Modi will once against become Prime Minister of the country after upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
“Mayawati has said that she don’t want majboot but majboor sarkar. Country wants majboot sarkar. Those who want corrupt government are opposing Modi,” he said.
Hussain said that PM has decided that his government will not tolerate corruption at any cost. “The opposition is busy making allegations of corruption for the sake of it. Even on Rafale, Congress’ allegations are exposed. Congress feels that it is bigger than the Supreme Court,” he said.
Referring to the discussion in the Parliament on Rafale deal, the Spokesman said (Union Defence Minister) Nirmala Sitharaman took class of (Congress President) Rahul Gandhi for two and half hours.
“But despite that Gandhi did not understand. Arun Jaitley too tried to make him understand but he could not understand,” he commented.
The BJP leader alleged that Congress was creating Rafale issue to divert the attention from their scams. “They even went to the extend of producing doctored tape from Goa on Rafale issue,” he said.
Claiming that BJP will win in West Bengal elections, Hussain referred to the rally hosted by Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee.
“Today in Mamata Benerjee’s rally some have supported naxal. Some people have spoken about support to those who are arrested for anti national acts,” he said.
“Mamata Benerjee ki rally me aye wohi bache hai unke saath baki sab BJP ke saath hai (Those who attended Mamata Benerjee rally are with her, rest are with BJP.),” he said adding that she has lost grounds in WB, BJP will win all the future elections there.
Hussain said tht the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are “not only to chose Members of Parliament but to select Modi as the Prime Minister.”
“People will vote to make Modi as Prime Minister again. Our strength is Narendra Modi and opposition’s weakness is Rahul Gandhi,” he said.
