Margao: Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao has reacted to the SKOCH report on employment, stating that if highest inflation, unemployment, corruption is reflection of vikasit Bharat, then God save India.
Goa chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Tuesday had tweeted stating that 51.40 Crore Person-Years Employment generated during 2014 to 2024 in India, according to SKOCH report.
He had said that the mission of Atmanirbhar Bharat and vision for Viksit Bharat is going through High Growth, Controlled Inflation and Employment Generation.
In a media statement released here, Alemao said “I dare the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to release “White Paper” on Financial Status of Goa and Employment Scenario in the State.”
“Let everyone know how many Jobs were provided in last eleven years by BJP Government and how BJP pushed Goa into Financial Bankruptcy,” he said.
Alemao said that the CM has Rubbed Salt on the wounds of all those Unemployed Youths, Home Makers and Commom Man by making such irresponsible statement. Insensitivity of BJP stands exposed once again.
Last ten years, People have suffered the most due to pro-rich and anti-poor policies of BJP Government. Demonetisation, Covid Mismanagement and Wrong Implementation of GST has broken the backbone of Small and Medium Industries. Government miserably failed to provide Jobs and create Employment Opportunities.
I want to draw attention of the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on the Report published by NITI Ayog headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi which revealed Goa stands at top in the Country on Unemployment. I also want to remind him of CMIE Reports which exposed failure of BJP Government on Unemployment, Alemao said.
