Lockdown: What is allowed, what is not. Read the following

Panaji: State Administration has issued  the order declaring lockdown from 9 pm of April 29 till 6 a.m of May 3.

 

Following activities banned: Casinos, Bars, Sports Complex, auditoriums, community halls, river cruises, waterparks, entertainment parks, gym, spa, massage parlours, saloon, cinema halls, multiplex, entertainment zones in shopping malls, swimming pools, schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutions, religious places for the public, weekly markets.

 

Following activities prohibited:

1.Social/Political/Sports/Entertainment/Academic/Cultural functions except for events with the permission of the government, marriages with 50 or less people with permission from DM/SDM and cremation with less than 20 people.

 

  1. Gathering of five or more persons at public places, except for official functions or with the permission of DM/SDM
  2. Use of buses except for people going for duty purpose and medical emergencies with a maximum capacity of 50%

 

Following are exception to the restriction: 1. Restaurants up to 50% capacity from 6 am to 9 pm; kitches are allowed to give home delivery, takeaways.

  1. Following are exception to the restriction: fish market and municipal/panchayat market will be allowed to function only with proper arrangements for enforcement of covid appropriate behaviour.
  2. Shops and Establishments to remain operational except between 9 pm to 6 am. Industries, factories and other essential offices/utilities such as govt offices and PSUs, local bodies, medical and health facilities, agriculture related activities, construction, chemists, groceries, eatables, hotels, the print and electronic media, telecommunication and internet service, banks, insurance, ATM, petrol pumps, LPG Cylinder services shall be functional.
