Panaji: Excise Department has announced dry days in the areas where elections are scheduled on March 20.
The department has notified: all licensed premises “for the sale of liquor” located within the jurisdiction of six Municipal Councils viz. Bicholim, Valpoi, Pernem, Cuncoliem, Curchorem-Cacora, Canacona and Corporation of the City of Panaji and Bye-elections to eighteen wards of different Village Panchayats in different Talukas as specified in the below mentioned table, Bye-election to Zilla Panchayat, 16-Navelim Constituency, South Goa District and Bye-election to Ward No. IX of Sanquelim Municipal Council located in the State of Goa shall be closed from 00.00 hrs. of 19-03-2021 till midnight of 20-03-2021.
