Valpoi:The Kerim Belgaum highway is in a pathetic condition since last one year, locals claim adding that people Kerim Village panchayat are facing the several health problems while travelling on this route.
The locals have demanded that the State government should immediately undertaken repairs of this road, which is an important inter-state link.
“We cannot ride the Vehicles on Kerim-Belgaum highway road. The road is in a very bad condition, the Kerim village highway road is pothole ridden While riding the two wheeler, we are facing the backbone problem,” said a local Devendra Gawas.
Several accidents have occurred on this highway, which gets worsened during the monsoon season. For the past many days we are raising our voice that to repair this highway but no one is taking any action till date, said another local.
We have already filled that highway potholes before the monsoon began. But in the rainy season its washed away. Now we have informed to the Valpoi Road Department to repair the Keri Belgaum highway road, said Govind Gawas, Sarpanch Kerim Village Panchayat.
