Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convener Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday appealed the supporters and workers of other political parties to remain in their respective outfits but vote for his party (AAP) during upcoming Goa elections.

Talking to reporters in Goa, Kejriwal said that all the workers and supporters of other political parties should vote for AAP for the sake of their own future and welfare of the state.

“I am here to address those people who are supporters and voters of BJP, Congress or any other political party. I am not asking them to join AAP. You can remain in your party but for your own sake, future of Goa and future of your family, this time, vote for AAP,” he said.

Kejriwal said that BJP has been in power in Goa for last 15 years but they have done nothing for the state. “This time vote for AAP and you will see the change in the state,” he said.

Referring to Congress workers and supporters, Kejriwal said that Congress has ruled for several years but has been turned into “feeder cadre” to BJP. “People join Congress to become leader and then join BJP,” he said.

“Congress has no agenda for Goa,” the Delhi chief minister said.

Similarly, the MGP and GFP workers and supporters should also know that their party will not be forming the government in the state. “What is the use of voting for such a party? Don’t let votes be divided,” he said.

Kejriwal said that if AAP comes to power, in next five years, each of the family will get Rs 10 lakh.

The Delhi chief minister said that BJP is openly claiming that they will be forming the government in Goa even if they win on eight seats. “Can there be bigger audacious than this?,” he questioned.
