Panaji: State Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship held a job fair at Altinho in Panaji.
The department organized ITI Job Fair 2018 inviting skilled candidates in different technical units.
State run Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Altinho saw participation from Corporations and around 30 private companies in the fair.
Around 250 candidates appeared for the interview in various establishments and got placement as per their choice.
Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited, Drishti Lifesaving Services, Yuva Shakti Foundation were among the list of participating departments/companies.
KTCL GM Sanjay Ghate told reporters that the Corporation, as a part of Apprentices Act, enrolls ten percent of the total technical staff through such placement fairs annually.
