Mumbai: The doctors treating Power Minister Pandurang Madkaikar at Mumbai based private hospital has said that he suffered brain stroke, and not heart attack as it was considered earlier.
The doctors said that a minor surgery was performed on him to clear the blood clot and his health is currently improving. He is under observation.
Health minister Vishwajit Rane would be rushing to Mumbai later to the hospital. A team of Goa medical college and hospital doctors will also be flown to assist the doctors there.
