Indian Coast Guard rescues three fishermen off Goa coast

Panaji: Indian Coast Guard rescued three fishermen off Goa coast on Thursday after water started entering in their boat, an official said.

ICG spokesman said that they had received distress call from fishing boat Sea Queen off Goa coast. The engine of the boat had stopped working and water had started coming in the vessel, he said.

The official said that there were three fishermen on the boat, who were rescued by ICG Apoorva ship. “All the three fishermen were brought to the shore and handed over to the local authorities,” he said.
