Benaulim: The upcoming Zilla Panchayat by election in Benaulim constituency would be contested unitedly by INDIA bloc partners. Sources said that AAP candidate would be contesting the election as a part of opposition unity.
The polls for Benaulim ZP are scheduled on June 23.Sources stated that the top leaders of all the parties have decided to work together. AAP will be fielding its candidate as a part of INDIA bloc.
The by election was necessitated after AAP leader Hanzel Fernandes was disqualified.
