Panaji: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Goa on Thursday said that the INDIA Alliance had no vision, programme or agenda for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Addressing a press conference in Panaji, BJP Goa spokesman Yatish Naik said that the meeting of INDIA Alliance members in Goa was held, hours after congress and AAP were seen fighting against each other in Punjab Assembly.
Naik said that the INDIA Alliance meeting in Goa on Wednesday had no vision, programme or agenda but were trying to show their unity without project anyone as a leader.
Naik said that the entire efforts of INDIA Alliance was to re-project the rejected dynast, who has failed time and again.
The BJP spokesman pointed out that there is no unity within the INDIA Alliance. “One partner claims that they will not support the alliance, if the ticket is given to any particular candidate. There are huge differences within the alliance,” he said.
Another BJP leader and MLA Sankalp Amonkar said that congress in Goa has been finished.
Amonkar, who was amongst the eight MLAs who joined BJP from Congress, accused Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar of finishing the party by forming his own coterie.
He said that the old congress leaders were sidelined by the party.
