IIT Row: Vishwajit Rane to assess the ground level situation
Valpoi: Amidst increasing protests against the IIT at Shel-Melaulim, State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Monday said that he will assess the situation with the people and discuss the matter with Chief Minister.
Several other villages have joined hands with Shel-Melaulim locals in their protest against proposed IIT campus on Monday.
Rane tweeted “I shall be assessing the ground situation with our people regarding IIT at Shel-Melauli today and will discuss the matter with CM.”
The tweets seems to be the first ever positive sign for the protestors after frequent statements by the CM that government will go ahead with the project.
