Fatorda: Goa Forward Party chief and Agriculture Minister Vijai Sardesai has said that he won’t mind if wholesale fish market is shifted out of Fatorda to rest allegations of his involvement with fish traders.

Sardesai’s reaction came a day after he was being accused of being hand in gloves with the lobby which imports fish from outside the State.

He said that he is not averse to demands of certain activists to shift wholesale fish market out of Fatorda. “This will once and for all set to rest allegations of my  involvement with fish traders,” Sardesai said.

MLAs from Salcette should suggest alternative location other than Fatorda within three days to Chief minister and the same should be given under the charge of FDA who has an efficient minister Vishwajit Rane at the helm, he said.
