Valpoi: As part of contact tracing in Guleli Sattari Village, 34 samples of contact related to health worker who is resident of Guleli and working at Vasco UHC who was found Covid positive.
As per Panch member of Guleli Panchayat Anil Gawde around 34 throat samples were taken by the team from Community Health Centre Valpoi at Rural Medical Dispensary Guleli, all the contacts within the village are asymptomatic.
The family members of the patient is already isolated and have been quarantine at mayem residency. Since we got the news that one of our villager who is working in health department tested positive all our villagers including contacts have quarantine ourselves in our homes.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane tweeted “As part of our contact tracing, samples of the people are being tested at Guleli where a health worker was reported positive.
We are here to keep Goa safe and are committed to the welfare of every citizen of the state of Goa, by taking all the precautionary measures to fight this war against.
