Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant felicitated Gunaji Mandrekar with outstanding social worker award during the function organized by Goa government for the Goa Liberation Day at Panaji.
Mandrekar, through the Nehru Yuva Kendra, has been working in various social fields for the last 4 years.
He has been taking initiative in organizing various programs like Blood Donation Camp, Dentistry Camp, Plantation, Sanitation Campaign, and Social Awareness.
Earlier, he was honored by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant as the ‘Best National Volunteer’ in the Yuva Gaurav program of Nehru Yuva Kendra (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India).
Also, Mandrekar was honored with the ‘National Seva Ratna Award’ on behalf of Bhavna Multipurpose Organization in Maharashtra. He was also congratulated by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Panaji-Goa.
