Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has said that the government will file a complaint against one of Goa’s website GoaJunction.com under Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 for uploading fake news.
Rane tweeted “It is my appeal to the people not to pay heed to rumours and fake news. GoaJunction, has a record of misrepresenting facts to create panic among the people.
We shall be filing a complaint with the Cyber Crime under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897.”
