Goa reports seven per cent positivity, 221 new infections on Monday

Panaji: Goa reported 07.77 per cent COVID-19 infection on Sunday with 221 new infections being reported during the day.

As per health department bulletin, a total of 221 people were tested positive on Monday  taking the toll to 2,42,659.

Eight persons died due to infection during the day, after which the death toll has touched 3748. The positivity rate was 07.77 per cent.

 The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 234534 with 500 of them getting discharged on Monday.

  “With 2843 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 18,36,515,”  he added.
