Panaji: In a development that could create fissures within the “Goa First” alliance, senior Goa Forward Party leader Vikas Bhagat said that the party would assess public sentiment before deciding its future political course of action.
In an exclusive interview with GNH, Bhagat hinted that the party has not shut its doors on the Congress for a possible alliance. He also said that the slogan of an anti-BJP and anti-Congress front was given by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and not by GFP leader Vijai Sardesai.
He said that the party would gauge public sentiment before taking any further decision.
The statement could be seen as a setback for the newly formed “Goa First” alliance.
