Panaji: A fresh cyclonic system has started to intensify near Southern coast of India. The system, however, will have no major impact on Goa.
IMD Goa has predicted thundershowers accompanied with lightening and gusty winds on Thursday and Friday.
Due to rough sea conditions, fishermen are asked not to venture into sea till November 3.
IMD Goa in a statement issued said that the deep depression will intensify into cyclone in next 24 hours. Because of the huge distance from coast, impact on Goa is expected to be less. No orange or red alerts as of now.
