Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that the facility to detect the presence of formalin in fish would be set up in Margao PDA market.
Rane said that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has given his consent for setting up of the facility which would be done soon.
He said that TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai has been taking regular updates with regards to setting up of the facility and has been requesting to fast-track it.
Minister also said that no more relaxation to the fishermen operating beyond 60kms radius to import their fish in the State would be granted.
