First flight lands at Manohar International Airport on Thursday

Panaji: The first flight carrying passengers from Hyderabad arrived at Manohar International Airport in North Goa on Thursday, starting the operations at this newly inaugurated facility.

Airport officials confirmed that the flight landed at 9 am at the new Airport.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated Manohar International Airport on December 11 located at Mopa village in North Goa.

Airport officials stated that the IndiGo 6E 6145 which had taken off from Hyderabad  landed at Goa Airport at 9 am.

Union Minister Shripad Naik and State Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte were present to welcome the passengers at the Terminal building of the Airport.

In the morning, Naik and Khaunte presented a symbolic dummy general boarding pass to the passengers for the IndiGo Airlines who would be taking off from Goa to Hyderabad.
