Panaji: Energy Conservation Day Organized by IEI Goa State Centre with Chief Guest, Chief Electrical Engineer, Govt. of Goa
The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation and promote sustainable practices in the state of Goa.
The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Chief Electrical Engineer of the Government of Goa, who shared valuable insights on the significance of energy conservation and its impact on the environment and economy. His presence and support highlighted the government’s commitment to promoting energy efficiency in the state.
The event also witnessed the participation of esteemed guest speaker Mr. Agnelo Gomes, Chairman Mr. Anwar Khan & Honorary Secretary Siddhant Dubhashi of the Institution of Engineers (India) Goa State Centre. Their presence and involvement further emphasized the importance of collective efforts towards energy conservation.
The event was skillfully coordinated by Mr.Austin Rodrigues and Mr.Shashank Shirvoikar, the Convenor of the Energy Conservation Day event.
The Energy Conservation Day event witnessed various activities, including informative presentations, interactive sessions, and The attendees actively participated in discussions, sharing their experiences and ideas on energy conservation practices.
The Institution of Engineers (India) Goa State Centre continues to play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable practices and energy conservation in the state. Their efforts in organizing such events contribute significantly to creating awareness and fostering a culture of energy efficiency.
Further, the Chief Electrical Engineer, Govt.of Goa was assured by the Chairman, IEI- GSC to provide full support from IEI which is largest and oldest association of Engineers, in promoting awareness about energy conservation.
