Panaji: DM South Goa, issues Public Notice with Respect To Unsafe/Dilapidated Buildings/Structures with in the South Goa District.
Accordingly, Citizens are advised to report any unsafe or structurally weak building to the local Municipality and if the premises are situated outside municipal jurisdiction, the matter may be reported to the concerned Block Development Officer for appropriate action. Citizens are also advised to refrain from residing in or conducting activities from such premises.
Attention of the Public is drawn regarding concern over unsafe and dilapidated structures within the district. It has been observed that despite visible risk to life and property, certain premises continue to be occupied for residential or commercial purpose.
It is reiterated that the primary responsibility of ensuring safety rests with the respective owners and occupants.
