New Delhi: South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar along with Navnath Naik, Zilla Panchyayat Chairperson and polyhouse farmers met Union Agriculture Minister(MOS) Gajendrasingh Shekhawat.
Others including Mahesh Gaonkar, Sadanand Gaonkar, South Goa ZP Adhyaksha Navnath Naik, ZP Member Maureno Rebello apprised the minister of difficulties of Polyhouse farmers and demanded that subsidy component may be released at the earliest to overcome the financial burden. Minister directed to examine the matter and find a solution.
