Panaji: Total 497 people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the state on Wednesday, taking the tally to 15,027, health department said.
The official said that 287 patients were discharged from various facilities taking the number of such patients to 11,511.
“Out of 2714 samples tested, 1914 were negative, 497 positive while 303 reports are awaited,” the official said.
The state recorded eight deaths due to COVID-19 infection on Wednesday.
