Panaji: Total 407 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Sunday, taking the total tally to 24,592.
The health department official said that 553 people were recovered on Sunday, after which 19,129 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 1,570 samples were tested, 929 were negative, 407 were positive and 234 reports are awaited.
Four people died on Sunday taking the death toll to 290 in the coastal state.
