Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 169 and reached 44,916 on Saturday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 641 as eight patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 42,239 with 183 of them getting discharge on Saturday. The number of active cases is now 2,036, the official said.
“A total of 1263 samples were tested during the day,” he added.
