Margao: Goa Forward Party on Wednesday cautioned that “continuation of such instances would result in losing of sympathy and creating suspicion amongst the partners.”

Goa Forward Party Chief and State Deputy Chief Minister Vijai Sardesai said that “CM would soon clarify on the future roadmap of the State coalition government.”

“Such incident in future will result in lack of public good will. I think Chief Minister will clarify, very soon, on future political roadmap of this coalition government,” said Sardesai.

“CM heads this (coalition government) and he knows contours of his alliance. If this (merger from coalition partners) continues then we will lose sympathy and it will create suspicion amongst coalition partners,” he commented.

Sardesai said that he has already conveyed his concern to the BJP State leadership as well as the chief minister.

The differences between MGP and BJP, stems from former’s decision to contest from Shiroda Assembly Constituency, for upcoming by-election, scheduled on April 23.

Sardesai said this (the split) was waiting to happen. I have been cautioning both the alliance partners BJP as well as MGP that if Shiroda issue is not resolved, this was waiting to happen,” he added.
