Congress seeks more time to study draft tourism policy

Panaji: The legislative wing of the Congress party has urged tourism department for additional ten days time to study and raise their opinion on the draft tourism policy.

CLP leader Chandrakant Kavlekar has written to Director Tourism in this regard.

“Congress legislative party members have requested for additional period of atleast ten days to express their opinion, comments, suggestions with regards to the proposed draft tourism policy,” he has said in the letter.

 “Proposed draft tourism policy is very exhaustive and it requires detailed examination on various matters and therefore, it may take more time to study and express our comments,” he added.
