Panaji: The Congress family, under the leadership of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar, visited the family of late Savio D’Souza, GPCC General Secretary at their residence in Nachinola yesterday on 2nd September and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Late Savio D’Souza was remembered for his association with the Congress family and his contribution to the party and the community. Congress leaders and workers expressed their deep sorrow at his demise and stood firmly with his family during this difficult time.
As a mark of respect and honour for his association with the Congress party, the Congress party flag will be placed on his mortal remains at his residence in Nachinola in Aldona Constituency at 2:30 PM today 3rd September 2026
The funeral will be held at 4:00 PM today at Mapusa Church.
