New Delhi: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday met Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal during his visit to the national capital.
The two leaders reviewed various initiatives aimed at strengthening Goa’s maritime infrastructure.
“Reviewed various initiatives to strengthen the beautiful coastal state’s maritime infrastructure. Modi government is committed to harnessing the true potential of our coastal regions for national growth,” he said in a post on X.
Sawant is currently on a visit to New Delhi, during which he also called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah earlier in the day on Wednesday.
