CM health update: Doctors from AIIMS to arrive in Goa today

Panaji: The team of doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will arrive in Goa on Sunday evening to attend ailing State Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, a senior official said.

Parrikar, 63, was admitted in Goa Medical College and Hospital near here on Saturday night and continues to be treated. The Chief Minister is suffering from pancreatic ailment since last one year.

“The Team of doctors from AIIMS, New Delhi will arrive in Goa to check Parrikar at GMCH this evening,” a senior official from Chief Minister’s Office said.

He said that the team, which was treating Parrikar during his admission in AIIMS, would be arriving in Goa.

“The condition of Chief Minister is stable. He is not critical as it is being rumoured outside,” he said.
