Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for passing OBC Reservation Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha.
The Chief Minister tweeted “I extend my gratitude and congratulations to PM Shri @narendramodi ji on passing of the OBC Reservation Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha. This shows the commitment of the Modi Government towards social welfare.”
The Lok Sabha on Tuesday approved the Constitution (127th Amendment) Bill, 2021 to restore the power of states to make their own Other Backward Castes (OBC) lists.
