Bicholim: As a part to fulfill CM’s vision of “Mission 100%” in COVID vaccination, a meeting was called by Bicholim MLA and Speaker of Goa Assembly Rajesh Patnekar with Mayem MLA Pravin Zantye, elected representatives and opinion makers of wards whose vaccination percentage is less than 50% as of now.
Bicholim Mamlatdar Mr Pandit, Chairman of Bicholim Municipal Council Kundan Falari, councilors Mr Riyaz Beig and Gunjan Korgaonkar , Sarpanch of Van-Maulinge Sheetal Sawant, Deputy Krishna Parab andothers were present on the occasion.
Detailed discussion was held on wardwise, how to cause awareness and bring people to the vaccination centre.
Renowned medical practitioner and former IMA Goa Chief Dr Shekhar Salkar said that all elected representatives and local opinion makers should do their best.
Dr salkar has agreed to come for short meetings to convince people to take vaccine and remove their misconceptions.
