Delhi MLA and Aam Aadmi Party Goa unit in-charge Atishi launched the ‘AAP Teachers Panel for preparation of Education Manifesto towards Benaulim Constituency’ along with AAP Vice President Capt Venzy Viegas and AAP general secretary Hanzel Fernandes.
Atishi claimed that it is the first time in the state that a political party has created a body to draft a constituency education improvement manifesto. Atishi believes that education is the key to the future generation, and today the development of students and teachers is lacking due to lack of initiative by current and past MLAs in Benaulim Constituency.
“Benaulim has 11 government aided schools, about 15 Anganwadis and government primary schools. As long as a legislator shows an intention to address these issues, several improvements can be made. The panel will work on developing a development manifesto for Benaulim’s education system”, AAP Vice President Venzy Viegas said.
AAP joint secretary Hanzel Fernandes asked all retired and active teachers of Benaulim to call on 9851134134 and give suggestions that can be incorporated into the education manifesto for Benaulim.
