Panaji: Directorate of Transport has order revocation of suspension of Assistant Director of Transport Kamlakant Karapurkar, who was suspended after he inaugurated the taxi counter at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, without checking its legality.
Karapurkar was suspended after he opened the taxi counter at the Airport without checking whether it has completed all the legal formalities.
The Directorate of Transport has ordered revocation of suspension of Karapurkar with immediate effect and also closed disciplinary inquiry against him.
The decision was taken after Directorate received report from the Vigilance department.
Karapurkar has been once again posted at Pernem.
