Dhargal, Pernem: The annual Shri Ganesh Puja, Abhishek, and other traditional religious rituals of the family deities were performed with devotion and religious fervour at the Shri Ganapati Ravalnath Panchayatan Temple, Dhargal, on Sunday, August 16, 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Shravan Shuddha Chaturthi (Vinayak Chaturthi).
The religious ceremonies were organised by the Mahajan Mandali in accordance with traditional customs and rituals. The Puja, Abhishek, and other religious ceremonies were performed under the guidance of the temple’s resident priest, Ujval Halbe.
The honour of serving as the Yajman (Chief Host) for this year’s annual Puja was undertaken by Adv. Vinayak D. Porob (Prabhu Punalekar) and his wife, Gayatri Vinayak Porob, from Tivim. The couple participated in the various religious ceremonies and offered prayers and traditional offerings to the deities.
Mahajan members and their families attended the religious programme and offered prayers at the holy feet of Shri Ganapati and the Panchayatan Deities, seeking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, good health, and the well-being of their families.
The temple premises were cleaned and prepared through voluntary seva rendered by Mahajan members on the eve of the annual celebration.
The annual observance reflected the enduring faith, devotion, and community spirit of the Mahajan Mandali and reaffirmed the importance of preserving the traditional worship and customs associated with Shri Ganapati Ravalnath Panchayatan, Dhargal.
