Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 302 and reached 1,64,229 on Saturday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 2,984 as nine of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 157772 with 419 of them getting discharged on Saturday . The number of active cases is now 3473, the official said.
“With 3469 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 8,85,980,” he added.
Goa’s COVID-19 figures are as follows: Positive cases 1,64,229, new cases 302, death toll 2984, discharged 157772, active cases 3473, samples tested till date 8,85,980.
