Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload spiked for the third consecutive day on Thursday with 212 new infections reported during the day, taking the tally to 1,80,872, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 3,522 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 176304 with 21 of them getting discharged on Friday. The number of active cases is now 1046, the official said.
“With 3058 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 16,26,141,” he added.
