Panaji: After the recent information of 7 positive covid 19 cases in Goa, NSUI Goa sincerely requests the government to take back the decision of examinations to be held of 10th and 12th standard students starting from May 20th respectively, state president Ahraz Mulla said.
“The life and health of students in Goa has to be the priority of the government during this pandemic, and the decision of exams can lead to community wide spread of the disease,” he said.
“Social distancing in institutions is not practically possible, it is only a myth and practically transportation for exams will be another major hurdle,” Mulla added.
“We request your kind authority to roll back the decision of examinations at the earliest, also if the decision of calling off the examinations is not taken NSUI Goa will be forced to launch a movement in the interest of the students of Goa.”
