Panaji: Goa Medical College (GMC) nd hospital Dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar on informed that standard operations procedures (SOPs) are not being followed at  wedding events therefore adding to the number of positive cases in the state.
“We are still not out of covid-19 I have been told that marriages are creating new cases of covid-19 in want to tell the people of Goa that have marriages and clusters to wear a face mask and social distancing,” Bandekar said.
Dr Bandekar added that recently almost a hundred persons, all from one family, tested positive for the infection after attending a wedding.
