Panaji: Goa Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane on Tuesday said that the waterfalls in Goa and surrounding areas will get a facelift.

Goa is bestowed with abundant waterfalls across the state, mostly during the rainy season.

Rane took on to social media on Tuesday to announce his plan to give facelift to the waterfalls. He wrote “Waterfalls in Goa and surrounding areas to get a facelift.”

The minister further said “From a registration counter at the entrance gate, bio-toilets at every 500mtrs, picnic spots and a guide to accompany the groups, we will ensure people visit the waterfalls and avail the facilities.”

Rane said that Goa Forest Department will be instrumental in protecting the waterfalls and enhancing visitor experience.
