Panaji: Reacting to the controversy surrounding the statement of Congress candidate Viriato Fernandes over the Indian Constitution, GPCC chief Amit Patkar said that Fernandes has not said anything unconstitutional.
“Viriato was raising the issue of dual citizenship. The issue was also raised in the past by then CM Manohar Parrikar. Was Parrikar also unconstitutional,” Patkar questioned.
He said that the BJP is trying to divert from the main issues and hence is raising such controversies.
