Panaji: V. M. Salgaocar Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and its associate concerns celebrated World Environment day across Goa by conducting Plantation drives on the occasion of World Environment Day 2021. Plantation drives were held at V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar Panaji, Sharda Mandir School, V.M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education, and other locations at Benaulim, Sirvoi amongst others. The Plantation program was carried out following Covid Appropriate Behavior.
Chairman Mr. Dattaraj Salgaocar stated that “The well-being of humanity, the environment, and the functioning of the economy, ultimately depend upon the responsible management of the planet’s natural resources. Planting trees is one of the easiest and best ways of caring for the environment and as a group, VMSalgaocar Corporation Group has planted over 10,000 indigenous trees over the last two years and will continue to plant more.”
